EL CHAVO STORE | VISUAL ID & PRODUCT DESIGN
CONCEPT | DESIGN | VISUAL IDENTITY | ILLUSTRATION | BRANDING | PRODUCT DESIGN
As an independent creative and designer, I was entrusted with creating the graphic identity for El Chavo Store, a pop-up store in malls in Los Angeles and a digital store through the official website elschavostore.com and its Amazon store. A comprehensive proposal was developed in response to the creation of an identity that, while independent of the existing Grupo Chespirito identity, would not stray from the visual family of El Chavo and El Chapulín Colorado intellectual properties. Additionally, the identity needed to strike a balance between nostalgia and a modern, fresh look aimed at a Hispanic audience in the United States, with a particular focus on Miami, Los Angeles, and New York.
A clean visual identity was conceptualized to give prominence to the consumer product, both in print and digital media, establishing the basic guidelines for the creation of the El Chavo Store brand identity. New concepts for limited edition and seasonal products were designed and created from scratch, as well as the respective applications for banners, advertising, and campaigns in both print and digital media.
